Firefighter Death Benefits: Revises provisions providing death benefits for firefighters; expands activities entitling firefighters to death benefits to include participation in training exercises; provides for retroactive application.
Effective Date: upon becoming a law and shall apply to deaths of firefighters occurring on or after November 1, 2007
